Description

As a regular visitor to the local spoken word night Monosyllabic, I was delighted when they asked me to design some flyers for a few of their events.

"When we wanted to start up a new experimental spoken word and performance night in Glasgow, we knew that the advertising had to be edgy. We wanted something unique, dynamic and eye-catching to attract people to our event. When we approached Susie McConnell to design our flyers and posters for Monosyllabic, we were amazed at the creativity and individuality of her designs. She stuck to our brief of edgy, experimental Russian Constructivism and gave this a modern, Glasgow twist whilst sticking to the tight deadlines that we gave her."
